C\u2019est une initiative de l\u2019organisation de l\u2019Union internationale contre le cancer (UICC), organisation internationale qui rassemble plusieurs organisations et fondations. L\u2019UICC invite les pays \u00e0 mettre en place des actions de mobilisation pour sensibiliser et aux enjeux de sant\u00e9 publique: d\u00e9veloppement de la pr\u00e9vention et du d\u00e9pistage, acc\u00e8s de toutes et tous au diagnostic; aux traitements et aux soins; promotion et encouragement des innovations \u00e0 la recherche; mise en place de plans d\u2019actions nationaux\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La th\u00e9matique de la campagne de cette journ\u00e9e 2023 est \u201cPour des soins plus justes\u201d. En effet, les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sont nombreuses face au cancer. 65% des d\u00e9c\u00e8s li\u00e9s au cancer se situent dans les pays \u00e0 revenus faibles ou interm\u00e9diaires. Cela peut \u00eatre due \u00e0 l\u2019absence ou \u00e0 tr\u00e8s peu de pr\u00e9vention, \u00e0 un diagnostic tardif, \u00e0 peu d\u2019infrastructures de soins et de traitements innovants.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au c\u0153ur de la campagne, pour garantir l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, se trouve l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019information de tous et le droit \u00e0 des soins de qualit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En France, l\u2019ARC (Fondation pour la Recherche sur le cancer) \u00e9dite le 4 f\u00e9vrier un livre de sensibilisation gratuit <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLes r\u00e9volutions de la recherche sur le cancer\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">qui pr\u00e9sente les avanc\u00e9es de la recherche de ces 20 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il est important de rappeler ce qu\u2019est le cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le cancer est une maladie caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par la multiplication et la propagation anarchique de cellules anormales. Un cancer peut \u00eatre d\u00fb \u00e0 des facteurs externes (mode de vie, facteurs environnementaux ou professionnels..) ou internes (mutations h\u00e9r\u00e9ditaires, hormones, d\u00e9r\u00e8glement du syst\u00e8me immunitaire..). Une tumeur est une masse de cellules qui peuvent \u00eatre canc\u00e9reuses ou non. Il existe des tumeurs b\u00e9nignes (non canc\u00e9reuses) et malignes (canc\u00e9reuses).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il existe diff\u00e9rents types de cancers :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le carcinome: se d\u00e9veloppe \u00e0 partir de cellules \u00e9pith\u00e9liales (cellules qui entourent et prot\u00e8gent les organes). Les formes de cancer les plus courantes sont les cancers du poumon, du foie, colorectal, de l\u2019estomac et du sein.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le sarcome: tumeur maligne des os et des tissus mous (tissus adipeux, muscles, vaisseaux sanguins..)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les leuc\u00e9mies: cancers des globules blancs et de la moelle osseuse<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les lymphomes: cancers du syst\u00e8me lymphatique (ganglions, rate, foie)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quelques chiffres sur le cancer en 2018 :<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">18,1 millions nouveaux cas de cancer dans le monde<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">9,6 millions de personnes sont mortes du cancer dans le monde\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En France 382 000 nouveaux cas<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">157 000 morts d\u2019un cancer en France<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 homme sur 8 et 1 femme sur 11 meurent de cette maladie.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 homme sur 5 et 1 femme sur 6 d\u00e9velopperont un cancer au cours de leur vie<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En France, le cancer de la prostate est le plus fr\u00e9quent chez l\u2019homme (50 000 cas en 2018). Puis ce sont les cancer du poumon (31 000) et colorectal (23 000).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chez la femme, le cancer du sein est le plus fr\u00e9quent (58 000 cas en 2018). Ce sont ensuite les cancers colorectaux (20 000) et du poumon (15 000).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La pr\u00e9vention et le d\u00e9pistage pr\u00e9coce sont des aspects tr\u00e8s importants dans la lutte contre le cancer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certains cancers peuvent \u00eatre \u00e9vit\u00e9s en r\u00e9duisant l\u2019exposition aux facteurs de risque comme le tabac, le surpoids\u2026mais aussi r\u00e9duire l\u2019exposition aux substances canc\u00e9rig\u00e8nes (rayonnements, polluants..).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La d\u00e9tection d\u2019un cancer pr\u00e9coce augmente les chances de r\u00e9ussite du traitement. Les cancers colorectaux, du sein, du col de l\u2019ut\u00e9rus et de la bouche peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9tect\u00e9s dans les premi\u00e8res phases de d\u00e9veloppement gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des tests.
